Meet Liz Barcomb

Liz comes from a family of equine enthusiasts with experience in eventing, hunter/jumpers, fox hunting, racing and polo. Her first horse was an ex-polo horse named Doc Holladay, who both she and her sister showed hunters and evented on.  “Doc” went on to compete at such esteemed events as the Stuart Horse Trials and Groton House Farm Horse Trials along with hunting with the Genesee Valley Hunt.

Originally from upstate New York, she and her family successfully ran a boarding and training facility, Holladay Hills Stables.  Throughout her career Liz has competed and trained riders in a variety of disciplines, including hunter/jumpers, eventing and dressage successfully up and down the east coast from Saratoga, to the Catskills, Lake Placid, and Ocala.

Liz has a BA in Business Administration and is a licensed veterinary technician and an avid scuba diver.  Her passion is teaching students of all levels helping them achieve their goals whether they are competition driven or just enjoying their equine partner.  She is excited to share her knowledge and experience at Holladay Hills Stable at Walnut Grove Estates.
